About Me
Who Am I?

I am an experienced Interim Manager, Management Consultant, Mentor, Coach, Training Manager and Skills Trainer.

I have a background of senior customer services management and service turnarounds within the Utilities, Telecommunications, Printing, EPoS and I.T sectors

I specialise in using my skills and experience to deliver lasting business benefits to my clients through a number of flexible means including:

• Undertaking Interim Management assignments
• The Project Management of business and operational change
• Developing, Delivering and Managing Training Interventions
• Mentoring and Coaching

My Background

Prior to becoming an Interim Manager, I worked for a number of corporations in a variety of commercial sectors.

Having graduated with a degree in Computing Science I began my working life as a software developer, software support specialist and presales support analyst.

After a few years, I went through rigorous management development training and management assessment processes and was appointed to my first team management role.

I climbed the corporate management ladder and stayed in permanent employment from 1974 until 1997 at which point I had gained experience up to and including Main Board Director.

In that time, I worked for:-

An EPoS supplier and subsidiary of the U.S based Litton Industries

Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC)
Then the world’s 3rd largest computer manufacturer and inventors of the minicomputer.
(DEC was acquired by Compaq and finally by Hewlett Packard)

Real Time Control (RTC)
A supplier of EPoS hardware, software and services

The world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of high quality pre-press graphic arts equipment including high-resolution digital scanners.
(Linotype was acquired by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen (Heidelberg) – the worlds largest printing press manufacturer)

In 1997, my wife and I set up Jupiter Management Services (Europe) Ltd and from that time, I have delivered Interim Management and Training services on a freelance basis.
